hello first edit but i have some screens and a video from this game, with weapons and equipment in them, if this helps you identify some please update this page i cannot wait for this game yeeaaaahhhh

plus the devs said a barrett XM500 is confirmed to be in the game via facebook.

happy to help and the name is officially Sniper 2: Ghost Warrior.

According to IGN and the developer, the name is Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. --Funkychinaman 22:23, 25 March 2012 (CDT)

Oh well i've seen that name being confirmed in various interviews with the devs but they havent changed it on the site. The new guns look to be m40s/reminton 700s style weapons adna customised (two toned?) 1911 type pistol. someone double check for me. --Quaney Owns U 01:19, 26 March 2012 (CDT)

Looks like the 1911 could be a MEU or Kimber Variant by the grips, hammer and ambidextrous safeties. --BrokenBullet 08:10, 1 April 2012 (CDT)

Ive also found an FN FAL and a mounted machine gun possibly an M240????? aaaand obviously the Desert Eagle. Alos a silenced Sig-Sauer P220 with a two toned finish. --Quaney Owns U 12:36, 1 April 2012 (CDT)

Yes. Thank you. --bozitojugg3rn4ut 11:58, 13 April 2012 (CDT)

MSR or an entirely new rifle? (Possible minor spoilers ahead)

In the newest urban environment walkthrough showcase, game developers have shown that one of the early missions is set in Sarajevo during the siege, pitting the player against JNA soldiers. Somewhere at 2:48 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eYdLSozRpo you can see a JNA sniper perched on the rooftop sporting a rifle, which to my best judgement (considering the proportions of the magazine and the general shape) seem to be none other, but the MSR. In 1993 no less. Am I the only one who thinks that's simply hilariously out of place? Given the setting a much better choice would be an SVD (to serve as a stand in for our own local M91 variant) or the M76 DMR, but again I'm not nowhere as nearly as clever as game developers so what do I know. --BeloglaviSup 13:20, 27 April 2012 (CDT)

Yes, it was an MSR. In 1993. Happens if game developers use other video games as a source of information. - bozitojugg3rn4ut 15:24, 28 April 2012 (CDT)

Possibly pointless info

The MSR is used in Act 1 (which takes place 'a week ago') The M24 is used in Act 2 (1993 flashback) The M-200 is used in Act 3 (the 'present') The XM500 is at various points where you set up a sniping position and can't move until taking out all targets. Reno2200 (talk) 00:18, 16 March 2013 (EDT)

The english used on the page is very poor, i've improved what i can but i havn't played this game so my knowledge is limited, could someone who knows more about the game help? Bahlemar (talk) 19:30, 16 March 2013 (EDT)

I've tried to tidy most of it up, but i haven't clocked the game yet so not clued on most of the info. --BrokenBullet (talk) 19:59, 19 March 2013 (EDT)

The one in the game is clearly not a two-tone, as seen in the screencaps and on my TV screen as I'm typing this. I could have sworn I changed the pic to one of a standard, but apparently I was mistaken as I can find no such edit in the page's history. Spartan198 (talk) 03:24, 7 December 2014 (EST)

Also, I'm not sure about some of the info given in the article about it. By this, I mean that I'm dubious of the claim that you can kill someone with a suppressed .45 ACP handgun at 500 meters. Either someone added an extra zero, or someone at the dev team in smoking some seriously dank kush. Pyr0m4n14c (talk) 21:06, 24 December 2016 (EST)

Since this is a sniper-based game, wouldn't it make sense to have sniper rifles listed first? This is done on most of the Sniper film pages and Enemy at the Gates, so I see no reason not to follow suit for these games. Spartan198 (talk) 10:03, 12 November 2016 (EST)
