The Nartov Mortar System is a Russian mortar system designed by Russian inventor and weapons manufacturer Andrei Nartov in 1754. It consisted of 185 cm wooden ring with 8 sections each containing 5 or 6 bronze mortars. Despite it was, probably, one of the first mortar to utilize a modern 76 mm artillery caliber it was very ineffective (mainly because low maximum range and angle as well as the fact that it wasn't compatible with typical ammo types of the age) and only a few were produced and used in actual warfare. Despite that it can be seen in some films and video games because of how impressive it looks.
