I'm not sure but the rifle, identified as Lee-Enfiled, seems to have a straight bolt handle. If it's correct, then it's possibly Mannlicher 1893. The shape of the magazine also seems to be more like Mannlicher, more long and less protruding than on SMLE. And about Berdans, I'm also not sure. What is the reason to identify these guns as Berdans? The shape of the bolt handle is similar to Berdan but there are other Romanian-issued rifles with same shape of the handle, like Mannlicher M93 or Mauser vz. 24s. As far as I know, Berdans were never issued to Romanian troops, they used Peabody–Martini–Henry in the era of single shot rifles. Greg-Z (talk) 13:37, 17 April 2016 (EDT)
