One question: are the sniper rifles in Halo games similar enough to deserve being mentioned?-- 12:53, 14 March 2011 (CDT)

I doubt it. The Halo page has been created and deleted many times based on that argument. --Funkychinaman 13:05, 14 March 2011 (CDT)
No. The sniper rifle in Halo is a 14.5mm semi-automatic average-sized rifle. The NTW-20 is a very large bolt-action 20mm rifle. They may be aesthetically similar, but they're very different designs. Please do not open up this can of worms again.--PistolJunkie 14:48, 14 March 2011 (CDT)
Roger that, not similar enough, shutting up now. And yet, by the way, there is a length given to the Halo 3/ODST variant: 187.5 cm, shorter than NTW-20 14.5, but longer than 20mm. A 14.5 rifle cannot be "average-sized".-- 02:19, 3 April 2011 (CDT)
Not that I'm for listing it as the Halo rifle but the NTW is both 20mm and 14.5mm. One of its selling features is its caliber conversion kit. And I'd hardly call the halo rifle average-sized, in the hands of the chief, sure, it is, but look at any of the marines and its freakin' huge. Just sayin'.--Mr-Jigsaw 04:11, 3 April 2011 (CDT)
and I'm just saying: it's within range of a real world gun prop conversion. It's not like such a note would crowd this page...-- 11:34, 5 April 2011 (CDT)
