Talk:King Kong (1933)

Why this page was listed in the table of contents in the B section

A strange glitch in the wiki software which really doesn't present itself unless someone types in the Categories a certain way.

(btw: the brackets [[ are typed as [( in the examples just so that IMFDB's software won't list THIS page erroneously)

Now when we add subcategories, we usually type them in as separate lines:

(example)

[(Category:Movie)]
[(Category:B&W)]

However, when we see the Categorization on the page it looks like:

[(Category:Movie | B&W)]

But we cannot type it in like that or else the Wiki Software thinks that we want to list this movie in the "B" section. We must continue to type in the Categories as separate lines.

So, if we typed in....

[(Category:Movie|Science-Fiction)]

Then the movie will be alphabetically listed in the "S" section (alphabetically after the word 'science', regardless of the title.

Winchester 1895?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I can tell all of the rifles in Kong '33 are bolt action. Also, Denham's rifle looks considerably different from the rifles the rest of the crew have (the crews' rifles have stocks which are nearly as long as the barrel).

Moved From Winchester Model 1895

(If I'm not mistaken, didn't some of the crew members use Krag-Jørgensen Rifles too?) The crew member has a Krag Rifle or Carbine. Robert Armstong is carrying a commercial Bolt Action rifle the I will do some research on. Phoenixent

It looks a tad like a Lee-Speed rifle. - Gunmaster45
