Grammar

I'm pretty sure this horse has already been beaten, but I'll say it again.

1. Usage of "the/a/an/his/her"

- Example: "John with 'the/a' gun." "The" refers to one specific gun, whereas "a" refers to any of the specific kind of gun. That means if a random character has say, a P226 and there is already a different character with one in a previous entry, it's not "the" P226, it's "a" P226 because "the" would mean it's the same piece in the previous entry. It all depends on the storyline. On an entry of it's own it would not be "the" gun it's "a" because no character has used "that" gun yet. Now if there are multiple shots of even different people with the same gun (not type but specific piece) then and only then it's "his/her/the".

2. Tranquilize is the proper grammatical verb but it's not commonly used in colloquial American English. Most say "trank" for short. Note the usage of 'k' and not a 'q'. In English, tranq is the noun, slang albeit for a tranquilizing sedative. The verb to tranquilize someone, is colloquially 'trank' because it is improper for the verb to end in a 'q' and still maintain the correct pronunciation.

- Tranquilizer (n.) -- the weapon used to sedate something or the pharmaceutical that sedates it.

- Tranquilize (v.) -- to sedate something

- Tranq (n.) -- slang for a sedating pharmaceutical

- Trank (v.) -- slang for sedating something

Deleted Scenes

In an unaired scene in "Chuck Versus the Hack-Off" (S5E06), an inmate pulls a revolver on Casey before hit in the face by the door opened by Verbanski. This scene was altered in the final aired version of the episode. (This entry was placed here due to the fact that it didn't actually appear in the episode --Ben41 21:49, 23 December 2011 (CST)).

A production image of the Prison inmate holding the revolver on Casey. (This is actually an alternate version of the scene).

It looks like it could be a Taurus PT 24/7. Maybe not sure. Tucker

P220 Carry

Is this the first time the P220 Carry has been seen in a TV show? Or on a screen period? Bristow8411 17:13, 3 February 2012 (CST)

USP Error

Am I the only one who notices that the gun in the picture looks more like a USP than an HK45? --Mormonpowerranger521

Casey's Mark 23

I'm pretty sure that the Mark 23 in Verbanski's office is an airsoft replica, noted by the front slide serrations and white dot in the safety (as opposed to the red dot). Just saying... --Mormonpowerranger521 16:42 28 February 2013 MST

Note the front slide serrations and white dot in the safety area.
The front slide serrations are very visible. And if you look closely, you will see the white dot that is found on airsoft replicas.

Additional

Sarah cautiously approaching the dastardly duo in "Chuck Versus the Goodbye" (Chuck Series Finale Part 2).
Verbanski with her Blaser R93 in "Chuck Versus the Hack Off" (S5E05).
