Does anyone notice the killer is the guy from Dumb and Dumber?-S&Wshooter 06:06, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, yeah. Jeff Daniels is actually a very good actor. He has a lot of good serious roles like this one, but Dumb and Dumber was his best. humanzie3

I refreshed the page a little bit, editing the Remington 870 and RMA Patriot descriptions. I am positive that the rifle Buddy uses has an RMA Patriot upper reciever. However, I think that the upper was mated to a full auto lower of some other kind. The finish on the upper reciever does not match that of the lower. The upper is black, the lower appears to me as dark grey. I also specified that the 870 used in the film is a Police model, based on the blued finish and chrome bolt. If it isn't a Police model, I think it is safe to say that is what it is standing in for. Hope everyone agrees. --GLOCK10mil 05:54, 5 August 2011 (CDT)

Good edits GLOCK10mil. While it could be an 870 Police Magnum, it could also be a Wingmaster. Before the Police Magnum came out, they would sell the Wingmaster with plain 18" or 20" barrels, they would call them the police barrel. I would also assume the furniture has been changed out. Most of the time with the blued finish, it's going to have wood. --Predator20 09:40, 5 August 2011 (CDT)

Thank you, Predator. It very well may be one of the older "Wingmaster Police" models. I think it is ,however, of newer manufacture. The front bead sight sits on a slightly raised "ramp" of sorts. Whereas, if my memory serves me correctly, the old Wingmaster Police models simply have the bead attached directly to the barrel. So I think they may have swapped the furniture out.--GLOCK10mil 06:34, 6 August 2011 (CDT)

I once again edited the page, adding a quote to an image, and correcting a misspelling present in all of Jaye Winston's S&W screencaps. Also, anyone object to me changing Arrango's Smith to a 4506? The grips look wraparound, and it was on the LAPD approved carry list at the time of filming. Thoughts would be great. GLOCK10mil 16:38, 2 April 2012 (CDT)

I reorganized the page this time, changing two guns. The USP used in the film is a Compact, as noted by the shape of the trigger guard. And since no one objected to it the last time, I changed Arrango's Smith to a 4506, the grips certainly look to wrap around the backstrap.--GLOCK10mm (talk) 13:21, 21 January 2013 (EST)
