Sonic the Hedgehog: 2 is a 2022 live-action/CGI sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog, part of Sega Corporation's long-running Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Set eight months after the events of the first film, Sonic the Hedgehog (voiced by Ben Schwartz) settles into a comfortable life in the fictional Green Hills, Montana under the adoption of Tom Wachowski (James Marsden) and his wife Maddie Wachowski (Tika Sumpter). Meanwhile the exiled mad scientist, Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) plots his revenge against Sonic by returning to Earth while teaming up with Knuckles the Echidna (voiced by Idris Elba). Together with the newly arrived Tails, Sonic and his allies embark on an adventure to find the coveted Chaos Emeralds hidden on Earth and prevent the ultimate power of the universe from falling into the wrong hands.

The following weapons are featured in the film Sonic the Hedgehog:

Pistols

Taser X2 Defender

Guardian Units of Nations (G.U.N) field agents wield Taser X3/X2 Defender pistols as their main sidearms. Green Hills Sheriff County Deputy Wade also uses one with a yellow finish.

Several covert G.U.N agents brandish their Tasers during the wedding.
A G.U.N agent disguised as a wedding priest sheepishly reveals a Taser concealed within his Bible.
A G.U.N agent holds his Taser before getting struck by Tail's boomerang gadget.
Commander Walters (Tom Butler) fires his Taser. The very next scene has the Taser suddenly appear unfired despite not having reloaded the weapon between cuts.
Deputy Wade aims his issued Taser. Note the law-enforcement style yellow finish and the nondescript logo.

Glock pistol

Deputy Wade (Adam Pally) of the Green Hills County's Sherriff's department has a holstered Glock pistol, but never wields it; instead opting for a Taser during a confrontation. It is possibly an airsoft as evidenced by the empty base behind the magwell. In the previous film, the Green Hills County Sherriff's department are seen using the SIG-Sauer P226 instead.

Deputy Wade is confused when his favorite (F- health rating, by the way) barista's doors are closed. You can make out the empty base of the pistol, possibly indicating that it's an airsoft Glock.

Mounted Weapons

Browning M2 heavy machine gun

The Browning M2 HMG is seen mounted on G.U.N Humvees and other G.U.N armored vehicles.

Several G.U.N vehicles surround the Mean Bean Coffee café. The M1126 Stryker ICV has a M2 mounted to a CROWS turret.
An entire M1 Abrams, including its turret hatch mounted Browning M2 gets magically disassembled by the power of the Master Emerald.
Several G.U.N HMMWVs also falls victim to the Master Emerald's cosmic powers.

Fictional/Energy Weapons

G.U.N Energy Rifle

G.U.N operatives are seen using a fictional energy-based weapon when confronting Dr. Robotnik. Presumably these weapons are standard-issue in G.U.N as no other soldiers are seen holding more conventional contemporary firearms such as the M4A1 carbine as seen in the previous film. The weapon appears to be based on the UTAS UTS-15 but none are fired during the film however, making it difficult to discern how the weapon system supposedly functions.

Several G.U.N troopers aim their energy rifles. Note the side-mounted picatinny rails.
A G.U.N operative with her energy rifle escorts Commander Walters and the Wachowskis while other troopers secure the helicopter landing zone.

Tail's Very Tiny Laser Blaster

One of the many gadgets acquired by Rachel (Natasha Rothwell) in Tail's bag is a tiny blaster that fires a comparatively large blast of energy that she uses for great intimidation factor.

Rachel fumbles with the blaster when taking it out for the first time.
Rachel points the blaster.

Tail's Laser Blaster

Miles "Tails" Prower (voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey) uses a laser blaster during the film's climax.

Tails fires his blaster while flying alongside Knuckles and Sonic.
Tails aims his blaster after infiltrating the Death Egg Robot.

Tail's Repeating Laser Cannons

During the climatic battle against Robotnik, Tails brings with him a modified biplane mounted with a pair of retracting laser repeating cannons.

Pipe Bomb

Armored truck hijackers at the beginning of the film use several home-made pipe bombs against the Seattle Police during a pursuit.

A armored van robber preps a pipe bomb to use against pursuing police vehicles.
A bag full of unarmed pipe bombs rolls into the driver's compartment of the van.
With comical timing, they all light up simultaneously without any reason.
Sonic triumphantly brandishes a lit pipe bomb that was previously stuck in his own hair.
