Silent Hill 2 is an upcoming remake of the 2001 video game of the same name. Like the original, the story follows the player character, James Sunderland, who receives a mysterious letter from his deceased wife, Mary, who writes that she is waiting for him in the town of Silent Hill. Confused, James travels to the town to investigate. Once he reaches Silent Hill, he quickly encounters supernatural forces that make him question what is really going on and further drives him to investigate the ever deepening mystery.

The following weapons appear in the video game Silent Hill 2 (TBD):

Pistols

Beretta 92FS Centurion

The Beretta 92FS Centurion makes a return in the remake as the workhorse in James' arsenal for weaker enemies. This time it has brown wood grips. Much like in the original, James finds it in an out of place shopping cart in the Wood Side Apartment complex.

Shotguns

Remington 870

The Remington 870 makes its return as the other workhorse of James' arsenal for tougher enemies. It still has a short barrel, but it is now longer than the original's barrel, which was sawed down almost to the magazine tube. It also now appears to have a sawed-off stock as well. James now aims the shotgun as well, as opposed to firing it from the hip.

NOTE: The motion blur around her head is from her doing the classic "seizure" or "spasming" that is a staple throughout the series.

Rifles

Winchester Model 70

The boss killing bolt-action Winchester Model 70 makes its triumphant return in the remake. Thanks to the advancement of technology since the original game's release over 20 years ago, James now cycles the bolt and ejects the empty casings, so the gun acts like a true bolt-action rifle instead of the semi-automatic it acted like in the original game. The rifle also produces a muzzle flash and bit of smoke that hangs for a few moments.
