Sherlock Holmes is an American 1922 B&W silent movie based on Arthur Conan Doyle's characters but with original plot. It is directed by Albert Parker and stars John Barrymore as Sherlock Holmes, Roland Young (in his screen debute) as Doctor Watson, and Gustav von Seyffertitz as Prof. Moriarty.
The following weapons were used in the film Sherlock Holmes:
Revolvers
Iver Johnson Safety Automatic
An Iver Johnson Safety Automatic top-break revolver is used by Sherlock Holmes (John Barrymore) in several scenes. Same looking revolvers are used by Moriarty's henchman Alf Bassick (Robert Schable) and Foreman Wells (William Powell).
Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action
Prof. Moriarty (Gustav von Seyffertitz) holds a Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action when he sheaks in Holmes' apartments.
Pistols

Rifles
Remington Model 14 1/2
Moriarty's henchman (Walter Kingsford), credited as "Gunman at apartment window", uses a Remington Model 14 pump action rifle in a planned (but failed) attempt on Holmes. The magazine tube has same length with the barrel that allows to identify the rifle as Model 14 1/2, a sporting modification of Model 14.
Trivia
A typical British "rhomboidal" tank is used as a monumentum on a London square. Possibly this is a Mk IV as many tanks of this model were presented for display to towns and cities in Britain after the Great War.
