The Sa 81 Krása (Czech for ‘beauty’) was a carbine developed by Jiří Čermák, in the late 1970s. The Czechoslovakian Army requested a weapon suitable for use by rear-echelon troops and vehicle crews. Beside the 7,62x39mm version, a 5,45x39mm concept was planned as the Sa. 83, before being scrapped, with the prototype being donated to the Military History Institute in Prague.
