Resurrected is a 1989 drama film directed by Paul Greengrass in his directorial debut, written by Martin Allen, and starring David Thewlis. It is based on the story of the British soldier Philip Williams, who is presumed dead and left behind in the Falklands but is accused of desertion when he reappears seven weeks after the Falklands War ends.
Resurrected premiered at the 39th Berlin International Film Festival in February 1989.
The following weapons were used in the film Resurrected:
12-Gauge Double Barrelled Shotgun
In the beginning of the film a kelper reloads his 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun and points to Kevin believing he was an Argentine.
When Kevin (David Thewlis) returns home, his brother (Michael Pollitt) plays with him with a toy Thompson.
During flashbacks of the Falklands War the Scottish guards are seen using L1A1 rifles during the fighting in Tumbledown. Kevin (David Thewlis) also carries one while loading the wounded in battle.
During the battle on Tumbledown a British soldier is seen carrying what appears to be an L7A2 GPMG.
