One Tough Cop
One Tough Cop is a 1998 police drama that dramatizes the exploits of Det. Bo Dietl, one of the most decorated officers in the history of the New York Police Department. The film stars Stephen Baldwin as Dietl. The film's low budget meant that it was filmed mostly in Toronto rather than New York City, and the setting was updated to the 1990s, even though the real-life Det. Dietl only served in the NYPD from 1970 to 1985.
The following weapons were used in the film One Tough Cop:
Handguns
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the sidearm of Det. Bo Dietl (Stephen Baldwin) as well as other NYPD officers. Note that in real life, the Glock 19 was the only Glock model authorized for NYPD officers at the time of filming, and the real-life Bo Dietl retired from the NYPD long before the first NYPD officers began carrying semi-auto pistols. (However, the production budget was too low to film the movie as a 1970s/1980s period piece.)
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is seen in the hands of Frankie 'Hot' Salvino (Paul Guilfoyle).
Colt M1911A1
An M1911A1 is the sidearm of Det. Duke Finnerly (Chris Penn).
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Popi (Luis Guzmán) holds a Smith & Wesson Model 10 during a standoff.
