NCIS: New Orleans is the second television spinoff from NCIS. The spinoff stars Scott Bakula as Agent Dwayne "King" Cassius Pride, who leads a team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service agents as they investigate cases in and around the city of New Orleans. The majority of the cast was introduced in the NCIS Season 11 episodes "Crescent City, Part I" and " "Crescent City, Part II". NCIS: New Orleans made its series premiere in the US on CBS in September of 2014 and aired for 7 seasons until May of 2021, making it the first series in the NCIS universe to end its run.
