Man in the Trunk (La Valise)

Man in the Trunk (original title La Valise) is a 1973 French comedy adventure film directed and written by Georges Lautner. Captain Augier (Michel Constantin) receives a task to covertly extract the Israeli spy Major Bloch (Jean-Pierre Marielle) from the French embassy in Tripoli. For this, he is to be loaded into a huge trunk and marked as diplomatic baggage. But of course, nothing goes to plan, and therefore the pair must begin to improvise. Moreover, when both fall in love with the charming Françoise (Mireille Darc), the two men try to one-up each other with various antics.
