Janet Leigh (1927-2004) was an American actress who has appeared in such films as Jet Pilot, The Manchurian Candidate (1962) and Touch of Evil. Perhaps her best remembered role was as Marlon Crane in director Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. In addition, Leigh also was the third wife of actor Tony Curtis and the mother of actress Jamie Lee Curtis, with whom she appeared with in both 1980's The Fog and 1998's Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later. She passed away in October of 2004 at age of 77 after a protracted illness.
