Ivan Petrov

Ivan Ivanovich Petrov (born Ivan Ivanovich Krauze, February 29, 1920 - December 26, 2003) was a famous Soviet bass opera singer. In 1959 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR. In 1970s the illness began to affect his voice, so Petrov concentrated on teaching. In 1973 he made his only screen appearance - as old hunter Zeb Stump in The Headless Horseman.
