Hell of the Living Dead
Hell of the Living Dead (Italian: Virus - l'inferno dei morti viventi) is a 1980 Italian-Spanish low-budget horror film, inspiried by Dawn of the Dead, and directed by Bruno Mattei. It has been released under several titles, including Virus, Night of the Zombies and Zombie Creeping Flesh. The film generally received a negative reviews.
At a top-secret chemical research facility called "Hope Center #1", a major accident occurs, causing a gas leak that turns all the employees, as well as people living in the area, into zombies. Elsewhere, a special forces detachment consisting of four commandos rescues the American consulate in Barcelona, Spain from a siege by eco-terrorists. The commandos are then sent to the infected area of Papua New Guinea, where the accident occurred earlier, where they encounter a reporter investigating reports of mysterious attacks on the local population. Soon, the commandos and their allies are beset by flesh-hungry zombies.
The following weapons were used in the film Hell of the Living Dead:
Handguns
Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose
A Smith & Wesson Model 19 Snub Nose is used by a policeman during the US consulate crisis.
Star Model Super B
A Star Model Super B is used by one eco-terrorist.
Star Model BM

Smith & Wesson Model 10
The Smith & Wesson Model 10 is seen in the hands of Lia Rousseau (Margie Newton).
Single Action Army-style revolver
A Single Action Army-style revolver is used by commandos (obviously, this is the same gun being passed from hand to hand). It is missing an ejector rod and may actually be some cheap copy, like the Röhm RG-66.
Arminius HW-1G
The Arminius HW-1G is also used.
Submachine Guns
Labora Fontbernat M1938 (Modified as Thompson-Style Submachine Guns)
M1A1 Thompson submachine guns is used by members of the police and members of the eco-terrorist group during the US consulate crisis. These are actually modified Labora Fontbernat M1938, adapted for firing some kind of blanks, with moving bolts and visible gun smoke (which, alas, comes not from the barrel, but from somewhere in the receiver). These guns are also used by the commandos during their new mission in Papua New Guinea. They are depicted both with or without an M1928 rear sight but never with a M1A1's. One model with a vertical foregrip seems to be the trademark weapon of Zantoro, but due to a continuity error, this weapon is carried by other members of the team.

Rifles
CETME Model B
The CETME Model B is used by the commandos during the siege of the US consulate and during their mission in Papua New Guinea.

Winchester Model 70
The eco-terrorists' leader (Tito Lucchetti) carries a bolt-action rifle which appears to be a pre-1964 Winchester Model 70.
Launcher
Federal 201Z Gas Riot Gun
A Federal Gas Riot Gun is seen in the hands of a policeman in Papua New Guinea in footage taken from La Vallée, a documentary on a tribe in Papua New Guinea.
