Flaming Star is an American 1960 Western movie directed by Don Siegel and starring Elvis Presley as rancher Pacer Burton, born of a Kiowa mother and a Texan father. When tensions between Kiowa tribe and neighboring farmers raise to fighting, Pacer finds himself caught between the two worlds.

Single Action Army (Mocked Up as Remington 1858 New Army)
Will Howard (Douglas Dick) and Sam 'Pa' Burton (John McIntire) carry "Cavalry" model Single Action Army revolvers, that was visually modified to resembled the Remington 1858 New Army, with fake Remington's cylinder rods (possibly a single prop is reused). Similar mockups were seen in many Western movies of 1940s-1960s.

In one scene Pacer Burton holds an anachronistic Winchester Model 1892 rifle. Due to continuity error it switches to a Marlin Model 1889 (see below).
