Exception to the Rule is a 1997 Canadian crime thriller directed by David Winning. Diamond trader Tim Bayer (Eric McCormack), whose wife Angela (Sean Young) is pregnant, starts an affair with Carla Rainer (Kim Cattrall), who in turn stars to blackmail him.
The following weapons were used in the film Exception to the Rule:
Beretta 92FS Inox
Carla Rainer (Kim Cattrall) uses a suppressed Beretta 92FS Inox pistol.

Carla Rainer (Kim Cattrall) holds what appears to be a suppressed Beretta 92FS Inox pistol. Note that the safety appears to be molded into the slide, making it likely that this is actually a replica pistol.

The pistol is put to the head of Angela Bayer (Sean Young).
Taurus PT92
In one scene, Carla holds (in most likely a continuity error) a stainless Taurus PT92 instead of the Beretta.
