Douglas Fairbanks (1883-1939) as Don Diego Vega/Señor Zorro in The Mark of Zorro.
Douglas Fairbanks was an American actor who was known for his swashbuckling roles in several silent films of the 1910's and 1920's including The Thief of Baghdad and The Mark of Zorro. Once dubbed the "King of Hollywood", Fairbanks was also known for his athletic ability, often performing his own stunts in his films. His son Douglas Fairbanks Jr. was also an actor.
