Desiderio Alberto Arnaz y de Acha III, better known as Desi Arnaz (1917-1986), was a Cuban-born American actor, musician, and producer best known for his role as Ricky Ricardo in the television sitcom I Love Lucy and for his marriage to actress/comedian Lucille Ball. Along with Ball, Arnaz created Desilu Productions, which was responsible for producing such television series as Mission: Impossible and Star Trek.
