Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction (2024)

Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction (Japanese title: デッドデッドデーモンズデデデデデストラクション, Deddo Deddo Dēmonzu Dededede Desutorakushon, also abbreviated as DDDD) is a 2024 Japanese science fiction-drama anime film duology based on the 2014-2022 manga series of the same name by Inio Asano. Both films were later re-cut into an 18-episode anime series released exclusively on Crunchyroll. The serial cut features new scenes that were not in the original films.

Defense Distributed Liberator

A blue Defense Distributed Liberator was shown at the end of Episode 11 when a SHIP leader named Kido provides Futaba Takemoto with a weapon secretly. Ouran Nakagawa helps Futaba get rid of the DDL in Episode 13, later on using it as her sidearm. Kido uses a bright yellow Liberator in Episode 15.

The SIG-Sauer P229 is seen in Episode 14 with CIA officers based in Tokyo. Kenichi Kohiruimaki later takes the pistols after killing them. Taro Miura uses on at the end of Episode 15 to shoot himself after reading a pro-anarchist manifesto on live TV.
