David Zayas

David Zayas is an American actor of Puerto-Rican origin well known for his roles as Detective Angel Batista in the TV series Dexter and as General Garza in The Expendables. He served in the U.S. Air Force and as an officer in the NYPD before beginning his acting career (thus making him the only actor among the main and recurring cast members of Dexter to have really served as a police officer before portraying one).
