Cruelty (Zhestokost) is a Soviet 1959 drama movie directed by Vladimir Skuybin and based on the novel by Pavel Nilin. The movie is set in 1920s in a small Siberian town. Local Ugolovny Rozysk (criminal police) hunts for the gang of brigands, lead by Vorontsov who claims himself "Emperor of taiga". Chief of Ugolovny Rozysk Yefrem Yefremovich and young, honest Deputy Chief Veniamin Malyshev differ in the methods of struggle against brigands. Malyshev convincies arrested brigand Lazar Baukin to change sides and help to capture Vorontsov. But after the victory Malyshev, betrayed by his superior and by his beloved woman, commits suicide.

The following weapons were used in the film Cruelty (Zhestokost):

Handguns

Nagant M1895

Nagant M1895 revolvers are main sidearms of Ugolovny Rozysk operatives, notably San'ka (Aleksandr Susnin). All Nagants in the movie are of anachronistic post-1930 version.

Sanka's Nagant is seen on the table.

Unknown Pistol

Yefrem Yefremovich (Nikolay Kryuchkov) also carries a pistol in holster. Only a small portion of the grip can be seen.

The visible part of the grip seems to be a spur, similar to the one of Femaru 37M but it's very vague guess.
The holster itself fits for said Femaru 37M or FN Model 1910 pistols.

Rifles

Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbine

Anachronistic Mosin Nagant M1938 Carbines are widely used by Ugolovny Rozysk operatives and brigands.

Some brigands are armed with sawn-off Mosin Nagant "obrez".
