Cobray
About
The Cobray Company was an American weapon manufacturer located in Westhope, North Dakota but originally from Smyrna, Georgia. It is the successor of the SWD corporation, and founded as a counter-terrorism center under the leadership of US Army veteran and mercenary Mitch WerBell. However, after controversies and lawsuits connected to the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban and unreliable products, it was forced to rename to "Leinad".
During its lifetime, the company became known for manufacturing a number of unusual firearms (usually of dubious quality), but are best known for its MAC-10 clones and Street Sweeper shotgun. The corporation is currently dissolved, but the trademark is owned by a company that manufactures parts for Cobray products.
