Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020) was an African-American actor best known for his portrayal of King of Wakanda T'Challa, aka Black Panther, in several films within the MCU. He also portrayed Jackie Robinson in the 2013 biopic 42 and Thurgood Marshall in 2017's Marshall. He passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 43 from complications of Stage IV colon cancer. He also voiced T'Challa/Star-Lord in the Disney+ animated series What If...?, which was his last work in his career as an actor.
