CSI: Vegas is the sequel television series to the original CSI. Paula Newsome stars in the series as Maxine "Max" Roby, the new head of the Las Vegas Crime Lab. The main cast includes Matt Lauria and Mel Rodriguez in addition to original CSI stars Jorja Fox and William Petersen, who reprise their roles as Sara Sidle and Gil Grissom, respectively. Other CSI stars also make guest appearances in the series, including Paul Guilfoyle as Captain Jim Brass and Wallace Langham as David Hodges. CSI: Vegas premiered in the US on CBS on October 6, 2021 and is scheduled to air 10 episodes for its first season.
