Block Z is a 2020 Filipino action-horror film. The film stars Julia Barretto as PJ, a pre-medical student at the San Lazaro University medical school. When a delirious woman admitted to the school's hospital rises from the dead and starts attacking other people, the school quickly becomes infested with zombies and is locked down by both the school administration and the military. The film follows PJ, her friends, her father, and a group of survivors as they attempt to escape the locked down and overrun university through a helicopter arriving in the early morning.
