And Soon the Darkness (2010)

And Soon the Darkness is the 2010 American thriller film, a remake of the 1970 British film of the same name. The film follows two girls who go on a bike trip to Argentina when one of the girls, Ellie (Odette Yustman), is kidnapped. Her companion Stephanie (Amber Heard) tries to search for her friend with the help of an American man (Karl Urban), who claims to have lost a person close to him down there.

The lone cop, Calvo (César Vianco) has a Beretta 92FS Inox in his holster. He uses it in the film, most notably to threaten the kidnapper. Michael (Karl Urban) later grabs the gun and uses it too.

Calvo also uses an early model Ruger M77 with a wood stock, iron sights, and all the metal parts blued (except the bolt assembly) during the climax. Stephanie (Amber Heard) also gets a hold of it.
