20 cm leLdgW - 90 mm

The 20 cm leichter Ladungswerfer (20 cm leLdgW) was a spigot mortar used by Germany during World War II. Owing to its spigot design, two calibers can be described for the weapon; the diameter of the spigot is 90mm (similarly to NATO-standardized 22mm rifle grenade launchers, this is effectively an internal bore diameter of the projectile, since the "barrel" is a tube inserted into the base of the shell), while the diameter of the shell itself is 200mm at its widest point (though theoretically any size of projectile could be used, the only ones known to have been issued were 200mm), with the latter being the one used in the mortar's name.
