X-Men: Apocalypse is the ninth installment in the X-Men film series and the fourth feature in the franchise to be directed by Bryan Singer. Set primarily in the year 1983, the 2016 sequel continues to feature the cast from X-Men: First Class as they try to stop an ancient mutant from destroying their world.
