X-Men: Apocalypse is the ninth installment in the X-Men film franchise and the fourth feature to be directed by Bryan Singer. Set primarily in the year 1983, the 2016 sequel continues to feature the cast from X-Men: First Class as they try to stop an ancient mutant from destroying their world.
