Trail of the Pink Panther is the sixth film in the Pink Panther movie series directed by Blake Edwards and was an attempt to continue the series despite the passing of Peter Sellers. The 1982 comedy follows a reporter who looks into the disappearance of Inspector Clouseau. Sellers appears in the film through deleted or alternate scenes from the previous films.

Blunderbuss Flintlock
In a fight Clouseau has with his manservant Cato, a Blunderbuss Flintlock is seen on the wall of the apartment.
Brown Bess Musket

When Clouseau hits an intruder in his apartment, a collection of handguns is briefly seen on a wall. This scene is from 1978's Revenge of the Pink Panther.

In a flashback to Clouseau's days as a French Resistance fighter, a column of German troops is seen armed with M43 Spanish Mauser rifles.
