The Fable (Japanese title: ザ・ファブル, Za Faburu) is a 2019 action-comedy film based on the 2014-2019 manga of the same name by Katsuhisa Minami. The film stars Junichi Okada as "The Fable", an legendary hitman within the Japanese underworld who is ordered to live a normal civilian life without killing anybody for an entire year.
