Starsky and Hutch' was a television series that ran from 1975-1979 and starred David Soul as Det. Ken 'Hutch' Hutchinson and Paul Michael Glaser as Det. Dave Starsky. The name of the show during it's run was Starsky AND Hutch, however later DVD and VHS releases re-titled the series Starsky & Hutch (replacing "and" with "&"), which is the identical name as the major motion picture remake in 2004. The series was a rough & tumble buddy cop show that pushed the envelope of 1970s standards regarding TV violence during prime time scheduling.
