S.W.A.T.: Firefight (2011)

S.W.A.T.: Firefight is a 2011 direct to DVD Sequel to the 2003 film S.W.A.T.. The film follows an LAPD SWAT officer Paul Cutler (Gabriel Macht) who is assigned to train SWAT officers in the Detroit Police Department in the latest tactics. The story for this film was co-written by three former LAPD SWAT Officers.

Handguns

Desert Eagle

A Desert Eagle is held by a Thug in the Opening Scene. He fires into the air to scare the people and later holds it on a Hostage. He his disarmed by a less-than-lethal firearm. The problem with the disarm by less-than-lethal force is the suspect was holding the gun pointed at a hostage with finger on the trigger. A strong blow by anything to the hand would have made him shoot by accident, but the movie didn't show it.

Rifles

Bushmaster ACR Carbine

Sgt. Paul Cutler (Gabriel Macht) uses a Bushmaster ACR Carbine as his primary. There were several scenes where we could clearly see that the Eotech was put on backwards.

This could potentially be the first film appearance of the ACR.

Barrett M107

Walter Hatch (Robert Patrick) uses a Barrett M107] at a shooting range to scare Cutler. For some reason he was charging the handle for every shot. It might or might not be fore dramatic effort or the blanks they used didn't cycle semi-automatically. It's also possible that they didn't have any actual blanks and used special effects for the muzzle blast.
