Red Dawn is the remake of the 1984 Charlie Sheen/Patrick Swayze film of the same name. The 2011 remake stars Chris Hemsworth and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and involves an invasion of the continental United States by an enemy force. Originally, the invaders were supposed to be Chinese, but they have been changed to North Koreans.

AKM (Modified to resemble AK-103)

The standard assault rifle of the Korean Peoples Army (KPA) in the film appears to be the AKM, visually modified with the addition of plastic furniture and AK-74-style muzzle brakes to resemble the AK-103. .

The AKMSU carbine is used by KPA soldiers and the Wolverines, modified with what appears to be a KCI quad rail system.
