Play Dirty (1969)

Play Dirty is a 1969 World War II film starring Michael Caine as an oil executive working with the British Army and is given the job of leading an irregular unit on a mission behind enemy lines in North Africa. The film is somewhat notable for its unusual ending for a war film.

The following weapons were used in the film Play Dirty:

Star Z45

The members of the unit are armed with Spanish Star Model Z45 submachine pistols, they are used when they are disguised as Germans soldiers as well as Italian soldiers.

Seen mounted on the jeeps of Colonel Master's irregular unit and also Major Watkins Guards Commando unit.

Lewis Gun

Seen mounted on Cyril Leech's jeep at the beginning of the film and also trucks from Watkin's commando unit.

MG34's are seen mounted on both Master's unit vehicles and also on German half tracks.

Two Vickers K.O. medium machine guns are seen twin mounted on Watkin's Jeep.
