Joey (Richard Kiley) uses a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless when tracking down the microfilm. He is given the Colt by one of his Communist superiors. Skip McCoy (Richard Widmark) pockets the gun before the film's climax.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
A New York City policeman who enters Skip's hideout arrests him with a Smith & Wesson Model 10 drawn.
Colt Detective Special
Several policemen in the film, including Capt. Dan Tiger (Murvyn Vye), use Colt Detective Specials.
