Handguns
SIG-Sauer P229 E2
The majority of the NCIS agents including G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Sam Hanna (L.L. Cool J), Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Assistant Director Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) continue to carry the new model SIG-Sauer P229 E2 with the redesigned slide and new grips. Various characters also use the P229 throughout the season.

Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is used in Season 5.

Glock 17
LAPD officers use the Glock 17 as their sidearm in the series. In Season 5's premiere "Ascension" (S5E01), Isaak Sidorov (Timothy V. Murphy) uses the Glock.
Smith & Wesson 5944
The Smith & Wesson 5944 continues to be the sidearm of Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).
