Mob City is a 2013 crime drama created by Frank Darabont and focuses on the conflict between the mob and the LAPD that started in the late 1940s. The series was based on the novel L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America's Most Seductive City by John Buntin and premiered in the US on the TNT network on December 4, 2013.

Colt Detective Special

The Colt Detective Special is used by mobsters and LAPD officers in the series.

Smith & Wesson M&P revolver

Detective Joe Teague (Jon Bernthal) appears to carry a Smith & Wesson Model M&P as his main sidearm in the series. The revolvers also appear to be carried by LAPD officers during a shootout in 1927.
