The PA-15 (Pistolet Automatique 15, where 15 refers to the magazine capacity) is one of many pistols manufactured by French company Manufacture d'armes de Bayonne (MAB). It was introduced in 1966 as a military pistol for French army but wasn't put into service. A target version of the PA-15 known as the PAP F1 (Pistolet Automatique de Précision (PAP) Modèle F1) was used by the French Gendarmerie and Air Force. Outside France, PA-15s have seen a limited use by the Finnish military and police forces of several small countries.
