Life was a television crime drama that aired in the US on NBC for two seasons from 2007 to 2009. Damian Lewis starred in the series as Charlie Crews, a former Los Angeles police officer (Damian Lewis) who was imprisoned for twelve years for a murder he did not commit. Upon being released from prison and receiving a large monetary settlement from the city, Crews rejoins the force and uses his newfound resources to uncover those behind the conspiracy that framed him.
