A signature weapon used throughout the movie, most notably the main character John Smith ([[Bruce Willis]]) who skillfully wields two matched pairs of [[M1911 pistol#M1911A1|M1911A1]] pistols, which he stores in a custom shoulder rig. The gun is also seen in the hands of several Irish and Italian mobsters in the film.
