La Femme Nikita (1990)

La Femme Nikita is a 1990 French action film from director Luc Besson that starred Anne Parillaud as Nikita, a juvenile delinquent who has her identity erased and then is recruited into a secret spy organization. The film was remade as the 1993 American film Point of No Return starring Bridget Fonda and then in two subsequent television series, 1997's La Femme Nikita starring Peta Wilson and 2010's Nikita starring Maggie Q. While La Femme Nikita is the US title for the film, it was also released in some formats under the title Nikita.
