Hunt: Showdown is an upcoming survival horror video game in development and to be published by Crytek. The game was originally in development at Crytek USA, who wished to create a spiritual successor to Darksiders—a video game series developed by their predecessor, Vigil Games—under the title Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. After the initial announcement in June 2014, Crytek USA was shut down due to financial issues, and the development was brought to the Crytek headquarters. The game, under the new title Hunt: Showdown, was re-announced in May 2017. Hunt: Showdown was launched on Steam in early access on February 22, 2018

Handguns

Colt Open Top

The Colt Open Top revolver appears as the "Caldwell Conversion Pistol". Although it has the overall appearance of an Open Top, it has an octagonal barrel like a Colt 1851 Navy Conversion, and the cylinder and loading gate is very similar to the Single Action Army. There are couple variants of the gun including one that replaces the cylinder with a chain of ammo.

Reloading the "Caldwell Conversion Pistol". Despite having an ejector rod, it is never used and the empty cartridges simply fall out due to gravity.

Colt Walker Conversion

Another variant of the "Caldwell Conversion Pistol" called the "Caldwell Conversion Uppercut", takes the standard revolver and enlarges it, and best resembles a cartridge conversion of a Colt Walker.

Nagant M1895

The Russian Nagant M1895 revolver appears as the "Nagant M1895" and there are several variants like one with a suppressor, shoulder stock, and brass knuckles.

Mauser C96

The German Mauser C96 appears as the "Dolch 96" and a variant with a shoulder stock can be obtained.

Vetterli Carbine

The Swiss Vetterli M1869/71 Carbine appears as the "Vetterli 71 Karabiner" and a variant with a bayonet can be obtained.

Mosin-Nagant M1891

The Mosin-Nagant M1891 appears as the "Mosin-Nagant M1891" and it appears to be mostly based on the Dragoon model although it has a front sling swivel of an early M1891 and the rear sight of a M1891/30. There are several variants including one with a bayonet, an "Obrez" version, and one modified to be fully automatic.
