The following guns were seen in Dead Bang:
Browning Hi-Power
- The Browning Hi-Power is the preferred weapon of multiple characters in the film.
Colt Python with 6" Barrel
LA Sheriff's Department Homicide investigator Jerry Beck (Don Johnson) carries a Colt Python with 6" Barrel and custom rubber grips.
Beretta 92FS
- Though he carries a Browning Hi-Power throughout the film, Bobby Burns switches to a Beretta 92FS during a gun fight in the street.
Smith & Wesson Model 13
FBI Special Agent Arthur Kressler (William Forsythe) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 13 with a 3" Barrel. Standard issue for F.B.I. agents in the late eighties.
Smith & Wesson Model 15
- The female cop (Trudy Forbes) after the gunfight in the street carries a Smith & Wesson Model 15.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
- Used by Chief Hillard (Brad Sullivan) and the rest of his deputies.
Smith & Wesson Model 28
- Carried by the LAPD in the background during the scenes in Los Angeles.
Smith & Wesson Model 686
Chief Dixon (Tim Reid) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 686 revolver.
Cobray M11/9
- Jerry Beck (Don Johnson) carries a Cobray M11/9 SMG at the conclusion of the film.
MAC-10
- Used by Bobby Burns (Frank Military) and other members of his group during the film.
Micro Uzi
- Used by Sleepy (Mickey Jones) as well as other members of Burns' gang.
Uzi
- The only time we see a full sized Uzi is when FBI Agent Kressler uses it in the assault on the cave complex.
Colt Model 653
- Some of Chief Dixon's deputies carried the 14" barreled AR15 carbines, most likely the Colt Model 653.
M16A1
- Used by Burn's gang, however, screenshots are hard since when used, they are all running and firing from a distance.
AK-47
- Guards at the Aryan compound all carry full stock AK47 rifles. They don't have the chinese AK hoods so they are true AK47s or accurate clones.
Type 56-1
- Sleepy (Mickey Jones) also carries a Norinco Type 56-1 Underfolder AK during the fight at the abandoned house.
Steyr AUG
- Only seen on a table full of weapons at the press briefing.
Winchester Model 70
- Used by Chief Dixon's Deputies.
Unknown Scoped Rifle
- Bobby Burns (Frank Military) uses a scoped rifle. Make and model as of yet undetermined.
Ithaca Model 37
An Ithaca 37 is seen mounted in the squad car driven by Chief Hillard (Brad Sullivan) and later used by Jerry Beck (Don Johnson) at the gunfight at the abandoned house.
Unknown Rifles
- Chief Elton Tremmel (William Traylor) has a variety of weapons hanging on the wall or in his gun cabinet (makes and models to be determined).
- The one on the bottom looks like a Winchester High Wall. - Gunmaster45
Fake M1919 Flash gun
- Burns uses an acetylene firing 'fake' M1919 style weapon from the back of a car during his escape.
Special
Trivia
- A bit role for a Los Angeles County Sheriff deputy is a young Garwin Sanford who would later play Narim (from the Tollan people) from Stargate: SG1
