Bridge of Spies is a 2015 spy thriller directed by Steven Spielberg and tells the true story of James B. Donovan (portrayed by Tom Hanks), an insurance lawyer recruited by the CIA to negotiate the release of Francis Gary Powers, the U-2 pilot working for the US who was shot down and captured by the Russians in 1960.
