BAT*21 (1988)

M1911A1

Used by Lt. Colonel Iceal Hambleton (Gene Hackman) as his personal weapon, and also used to kill a Vietnamese Peasant in self defence.

World War 2 issued Colt M1911A1 Pistol - .45 ACP.

M16A1

Used by Captain Bartholomew Clark (Danny Glover).

M16A1 with 20 round magazine - 5.56x45mm. What distinguishes it from the original M16 was the addition of a raised rib around the magazine release button, changing of the forward Receiver pins, and the addition of the forward assist button on the upper receiver.

M60 machine gun

Used by the S-61 Sea King door gunner during the first, and failed rescue attempt.

Chinese Type 56 assault rifle

Norinco Type 56 (fixed stock variant) with under-folding bayonet ("pig sticker") which was standard on PLA-issue Type 56s - 7.62x39mm
